Access scaffolding for contractors, developers and businesses across Hampshire, from shopfronts to full building refurbishments. Designed, documented and built to keep your programme moving and the public safe.
Commercial scaffolding is access built for business premises and larger projects rather than private homes, bigger structures, longer hire periods, phased access across a programme, and almost always work around a live site, staff, customers or the public. It usually means more design, more documentation and more coordination than a domestic job, along with extras like loading bays, pavement gantries, temporary roofs and public-protection fans.
We provide commercial scaffolding across Hampshire for main contractors, developers, facilities managers, shopfitters and businesses managing their own premises. Here are the kinds of buildings we work on:
Access for roofing, cladding and refurbishment on education sites, planned around term times and built with pedestrian protection to keep pupils and staff separated from the works.
Careful, often tall access for stonework, roofing, tower and spire repairs, designed to spread loads on old structures and work sympathetically around heritage fabric.
Pavement gantries and shopfront scaffolds that let the work happen overhead while the business trades below and the public passes underneath safely.
Larger-footprint access for units, signage and unit facades, coordinated around opening hours, deliveries and live car parks.
Scaffolding for frontages, roofs and signage on hospitality premises, planned to keep entrances, beer gardens and service running wherever possible.
Multi-storey access for cladding, window and façade work, with loading bays and hoists where materials need to reach height across several floors.
High-level access for roofing, gutter and steel-framework on large industrial buildings, including internal scaffolds and access towers where needed.
Full-perimeter and phased access for residential blocks under refurbishment, designed around residents, entrances and managed strike-downs floor by floor.
Getting a commercial scaffold right is as much about the design, paperwork and phasing as the steel itself, sort those and nothing holds up your site once work begins. Here’s how a job runs with us.
We start with a site visit to assess the structure, the ground, the access constraints and how your programme needs the scaffold to behave. Where the job falls outside standard TG20 configurations, we produce a bespoke design and get it signed off before the crew arrives, so there’s no stand-down waiting on paperwork.
You get a clear, itemised quote you can drop into a tender or budget, supplied with site-specific RAMS and method statements. Everything’s documented up front, so when the main contractor, building control or the client’s H&S team inspects, it holds up first time.
We build to the agreed dates, coordinating with the other trades on site, and hand over a scaffold that’s been inspected and tagged before anyone works from it. Statutory inspections are then carried out and logged throughout the hire.
As the work moves round the building, we take down each section once your trades have finished with it — so you’re not paying for access you no longer need, and the site clears down cleanly as the job completes.
Yes. We plan the build and strike around trading hours, deliveries and quiet periods, and can carry out work out of hours where a site can’t take disruption during the day.
Where a scaffold or gantry sits on the public highway a council licence is required. We’ll arrange this and design the gantry to keep the footway open and safe.
Through pavement gantries, hoarding, netting and edge protection as the site demands, all signed and lit where needed, so people passing below or working nearby are kept clear of the works.
Yes. Commercial projects often run for weeks or months with access changing as the job progresses. We plan the phasing with you, carry out and log the statutory inspections throughout, and strike in stages as each area completes.
Yes. We hold £10m public liability along with employers’ liability cover, and can supply insurance certificates, RAMS and method statements for your supply-chain checks or pre-qualification. All work is built and inspected to TG20 and current industry standards.
Send us the site details and programme and we’ll get you a costed, documented quote.
