Hampshire Scaffolding Ltd provides safe, compliant access scaffolding for homes and businesses across Hampshire, from a single chimney stack to a full commercial elevation. Every scaffold is built to suit the job in front of it, put up by trained scaffolders and signed off before anyone works from it.
Whatever the trade needs access, for- roofers, solar installers, builders, renderers- we put up a safe working platform and strike it once the work’s done. Pick the service that fits your project below or get in touch and we’ll advise on the right setup.
Choose the service that matches your job, each has its own page with the full detail:
Safe access for home projects across Hampshire — re-roofs, rendering, repairs, guttering and extensions on homes of every type.
Access for contractors, developers and businesses, from shopfronts and offices to full building refurbishments, with the design and paperwork to match.
Boarded platforms and edge protection for re-roofs, roof repairs, flat roofs, fascias and guttering, set out around how the roofer works.
Safe access right around the stack for repointing, reflaunching, pot and cowl work, flashing repairs and full removals.
Fast erect-and-strike access timed around your PV install, with edge protection along every panel run.
Bridged access that clears the glass to reach the wall, windows, roof or chimney behind, without any weight on the conservatory.
Whatever the job, it starts with safe access. A scaffold has to get your trades to the work, hold them safely while they’re there, and come down cleanly once they’re done, and the right build depends entirely on what’s in front of it. A domestic re-roof, a commercial shopfront, a chimney set back behind the ridge and a conservatory in the way are four different problems, and we set each one out to suit.
We work for private homeowners, builders and roofers on domestic jobs, and for main contractors, developers and businesses on commercial ones, right across Hampshire. Every scaffold is built to TG20 and current industry standards, inspected before it’s handed over, and struck promptly once your work’s finished.
No two jobs need the same scaffold. We assess the property, the ground and how your trades need to work, then build the access to fit, nothing more than the job needs, nothing less than it takes to do it safely.
Tell us about the job, a postcode, a few details, a photo if you have one, and we’ll get you a free quote. For straightforward jobs we can often price it from that; for bigger or more awkward ones we’ll come and look first.
We work to your dates, get the scaffold up ready for your trades, and come back to strike it as soon as the work’s finished, so you’re not left with access you no longer need or paying for hire that’s sitting idle.
We provide access scaffolding for homes and businesses right across Hampshire. Our core services each have their own page:
We also provide a full range of other scaffold types:
It depends on the job. A re-roof or roof repair needs roofing scaffolding with edge protection along the eaves; work on a chimney needs a platform around the stack; a solar install needs fast access timed to your fitters; and reaching a wall or roof behind a conservatory means bridging over it. If you’re not sure, tell us what you’re having done and we’ll point you to the right setup, or just call and describe the job.
Domestic scaffolding is for homes, re-roofs, rendering, repairs and extensions, usually a quicker build on a single property. Commercial scaffolding is for businesses and contractors, shopfronts, offices, industrial units and larger projects, and typically involves longer hire, phased access, public protection and more design and paperwork. We do both across Hampshire; the right one comes down to the building and the job.
Usually, yes, awkward access is a big part of the job. Chimneys set back behind the ridge, tall or three-storey properties, tight side returns, and obstructions like conservatories, extensions and porches all need the scaffold thought through and often bridged or built out to reach the work. Send us a photo and we’ll tell you how we’d get to it.
We cover Hampshire and the surrounding area: Winchester, Basingstoke, Portsmouth, Southampton, Fareham, Andover. Not sure if you’re in range? Give us a call and we’ll let you know.
Yes. A lot of our work is providing safe access for other trades, roofers, builders, renderers, solar installers, window fitters and more. We put the scaffold up ready for the day your tradesman starts, set it out around how they need to work, and strike it once they’re finished. We’re happy to liaise with your trade directly on exactly what they need.
